Pentti Korpela, Ph. D., eMBA, is Principal Lecturer Emeritus at Turku University of Applied Sciences. His research and teaching are mainly focused on personal selling and sales management. Pentti has participated actively in developing and implementing the Best Seller Competition-concept in Finland and managed also the European Sales Competition project funded by EU. His doctoral thesis in 2015 addressed B2B salespeople’s selling competencies from buyers’ perspective. Pentti has long experience in international sales and marketing management and purchasing management. In addition, he has led a multi-brand car dealership and worked as a board member in a personnel services company. Pentti has a sound knowledge of technology, automotive, chemical, forest and personnel services industries.
